FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: OPEN AUDITIONS FOR CHILDREN TO RECORD WITH MARY LAMBERT ON NEW CD

Juno Award Nominee, Mary Lambert, is currently recording a new children's CD to be released in the spring of 2012. All of the music tracks are almost complete and Mary is holding open auditions for the following children's parts -

  • SING for solo part - "It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring. He went to bed and bumped his head and didn't get up in the morning"
  • SING for small children's choir part - "Down by the bay, where the watermelon's grow. Back to my home, I dare not go. For if I do, my mother would say"
  • SPEAK - "Have you ever seen a water spider, sipping on some apple cider?" or "Have you ever seen a swan mowing the lawn?"
  • SPEAK - Give me your best sounding Canadian "eh" (think Bob and Doug Mackenzie, for you older folk who remember) Be creative with this as you spell the word "C.A.N.A.D.A." with the letter "eh".
  • Your best giggle.
  • CHANT - "Dig Me" repeated four times (think cool cat)
  • CHANT - "Kerplop - Just Drop" repeated twice
  • CHANT - "Here Comes the Sun" repeated four times
  • CHANT - "Big and Strong" repeated four times (give me a BIG sound)
(Be creative, get in a groove and have some fun with these bottom four)
Children may audition for one or all parts. Please submit sound clips on a CD and mail to Mary Lambert Productions, 682 Summerfield Place, Kingston, ON, K7M 8A1 OR email MP3 files to pntbtr@kos.net .
