SHOW THEMES
ALL OF MARY'S PERFORMANCES ARE HIGHLY INTERACTIVE WITH AUDIENCE MEMBERS. STUDENTS WILL BE INVITED TO JOIN MARY ON STAGE TO BECOME PART OF THE PERFORMANCE DURING SOME SONGS. ALL CONCERTS ARE FILLED WITH COLOURFUL COSTUMES, PROPS, AND ARE CHALKED FULL OF ACTION-BASED ORIGINAL AND/OR WELL-KNOWN SONGS.
SINGIN' ALONG, EH? K-3 or K-6
This performance was such a hit for Canada 150, that Mary has made it a permanent theme! If you're interested in a performance to celebrate our country, SINGIN' ALONG, EH, is a concert of interactive MOVEMENT and MUSIC with MOUNTIES, MOOSE and MOSQUITOS - sprinkled with a little Canadian trivia, the importance of the birth of the railroad in our country and a touch of humour. 50 min.

This wonderfully creative musical concert full of original, traditional and well-known tunes, will tickle the funny bone, educate, and entertain. Everyone will enjoy taking a musical trip to "The Worm Farm", and through song and dance, students will explore simple things that they can do to help keep their earth healthy and beautiful. The messages of conservation, reduction of litter, planting gardens and trees, and how each of us are connected to earth, air, water and animals will be delivered in a fun-filled manner. Several students will be plucked from the audience (only those with hands up!) to come on stage and become part of the show - TOTALLY INTERACTIVE FUN with a gentle environmental message!!! 50 Minutes |  |
MONKEY SING, MONKEY DO! JK/SK or K-3
| This performance is filled with SING-ALONG AND DANCE-ALONG tunes and is just plain FUN! Children will be active and engaged as Mary performs well-known traditional favourites and original tunes. We'll have a visit from the "Toothfairy" which is sure to be an uproarious experience, take a trip to Old MacDonald's Funky Farm, and each child will actually dramatize becoming little monkeys for the grand finale. 50 minutes |  |
TOGETHER WE LEARN K-3 or K-6
The topics Kindness and Bullying are explored in this very creative musical performance, with discussion and interactive music. Between songs, there are questions, answers, and personal stories shared by Mary. During songs, Mary will encourage some audience members to become active participants on stage, but all in attendance will be engaged with the colourful costumes, props and action-based music. Kindness, inclusion, respect, responsibility, friendship, talents, and our uniqueness as individuals are promoted through original and popular music. - A positive message. 55 minutes.
PAJAMA PARTY K-3
| Perfect for "Spirit Days"! Kids, teachers and parents can come dressed in their p.j.'s, with their teddy bears and blankies, for this highly interactive performance, featuring dance, finger-play, sing-along songs and tons of fun! This concert will feature PLAY time and STORY time songs from Mary's CD - "Pajama Party". 50 minutes |  |
SING OUT FIRE SAFETY K - 6
Mary takes the students through many aspects of fire prevention and fire safety during this wonderful educational musical performance. Children will learn more about what firefighters do, and many important fire safety tips, including the importance of smoke alarms and what to do when they go off. "Sparky's Funky Dance" will get the kids moving and responding to important questions, and "The Great Escape" will show children how they can plan fire drills in their homes with their families. Mary's fire safety production can include volunteers from your local fire department and has the support of Fire Prevention Canada. 60 minutes
SING OUT KIDS' SAFETY K-3
This is a very interactive musical performance with songs and instruction regarding many different safety themes including: bicycle; train track; school bus; Halloween; swimming; boating; fire and farm safety. If you have a concern or area of safety specific to your geographic region, please advise and this can be worked into the performance. The materials in all songs have been thoroughly researched and have been reviewed by the Perth Safe Communities organization, along with firefighters and police. If you are looking for an up-beat show with a strong safety content, then look no further than this humourous, colourful and very interactive musical performance. 50 minutes
A"MARY"CHRISTMAS K- 3 or K - 6

This performance is chalked full of well-known and original Christmas songs, lots of audience participation, hilarious antics, and the true meaning of Christmas. Music, drama and a good sense of humour are the key ingredients in this show. During the finale, Mary will teach audience members how to do some simple sign language as we sing and sign along together to Silent Night. SONGS OF THE SEASON K-3 OR K-6
This performance is geared to bring excitement for the holidays. Mary will be looking for audience members to become Santa's back-up band for his favourite seasonal song, Jingle Bells. She will also hold open auditions on stage for Santa's reindeer team for this year's run. Hilarity will ensue when we discover and sing about two favourite elves, "Snowflake and Evergreen". Reference to Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and other holidays in December will be mentioned. 50 minutes
HEALTH & HEART K - 6
This action-packed, educational-based show is designed to send a health-smart message to students. Info. about good eating habits, exercise, proper hygiene, how the heart, lungs and "Dem Bones" work, and what they need to stay healthy are portrayed through song and dance. DRAMA is also on the menu! This performance includes a short, adaptation of a fairy tale, starring four of your older students - The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf who Smokes! 60 minutes
MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC K - 3
This show is designed to take students as far as the imagination can travel through the medium of music. Children will distinguish beat and rhythm, sing high, low, soft and loud, create their own lyrics to a song, sing along to story songs and hold a note as long as they can (or until their faces turn blue!) 50 minutes
MUSIC MANIA 4 - 6

Designed with older students in mind. This compilation of well-known and original music will help students and teachers appreciate the fun we can have with music. Tons of audience participation is incorporated on-stage and off, as three older students are asked ahead of time to play a major role in this performance. Song, dance, laughter, colourful costumes and props are all a big part of MUSIC MANIA. 50 minutes |
THE WHOLE SCHOOL SHOW K-6

SONGS FOR AUTUMN K - 3
This show is geared towards Autumn, Thanksgiving and Halloween celebrations.
Children will wind up on stage dressed up in colourful costumes as we pretend to travel to agricultural fairs across the province and check out the animals we find. Children will also participate in the "Scary Scarecrow Dance", discover that "Hibernation is Awesome", and they might even become a little pumpkin or witch "trick-or-treating" on stage. 50 minutes
SINGIN' ALONG AND ADVENTURE SONGS - JK/SK OR K-3
Get ready for some musical adventures - a pirate treasure hunt, a little red wagon ride through Calmar, AB, a visit from the Purple People Eater, and so much more! This performance is geared for younger grades and will take our imagination as far as it can travel through original and well-known songs, colourful costumes, props, dance and lots of audience participation. 50 minutes
